1. Ti2SnC material has high strength, high elastic modulus, self lubrication, machinability, especially high conductivity. It is an ideal material to replace graphite brush and electrode.
2. Ti2SnC has low friction coefficient, good corrosion resistance and thermal conductivity, so it is very suitable for manufacturing all kinds of antifriction components.
3. Ti2SnC can be used as the second phase enhancer. Because of its high conductivity and high modulus, it can enhance the strength and not affect the conductivity of the matrix.
4. The yield strength and tensile strength of Ti2SnC reinforced Cu matrix composites are 4 times and 2 times higher than that of pure copper under the same process conditions, and the elongation is maintained at 12%, while the electrical conductivity decreases little.
