ZrO2 Foam Ceramic Filter
Zirconia foam ceramic filters enable molten steel to fill the mold cavity more evenly. During casting, the molten metal exhibits a high tendency for turbulence; however, through the three-dimensional pore structure of the zirconia foam ceramic filter, this turbulence is ultimately transformed into a stable laminar flow. This laminar flow provides better cavity filling, thus reducing impact corrosion of the casting cavity by the molten metal and significantly lowering the scrap rate.
